Hi, I’m BEth,
My path to becoming a psychotherapist was circuitous — and ultimately very intentional. After working in toy design, marketing, and finance, I found myself professionally unfulfilled. Two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Panamanian jungle brought clarity: I wanted to work with people. I’m genuinely fortunate to love what I do, and I look forward to every workday and every client connection.
A B.A. in Spanish, language immersion in Panama, and years working with the Latino community have made me fluent in Spanish. After earning my MFT, I worked in community mental health in Los Angeles, launched my private practice, and taught as adjunct faculty in LMU’s MFT program. I also helped develop and direct LMU’s cross-cultural art psychotherapy program in Mexico. Throughout, my private practice has remained a constant — serving a broad range of clients with diverse life experiences.
Outside of work, I love being a parent and seeing the world through a child’s eyes. I invest deeply in relationships. And my free time tends to involve the outdoors, books, art, music, and travel — experiencing new places and cultures.
